If this is a gasoline cart, set the switch to “ON” and take a reading between the terminals. There should be continuity. here

Okay, the electrical system checks out and the engine still won’t start. Before screwing the spark plug back into the engine, put a couple of drops of gasoline down the hole first, or use some engine starter fluid. After the spark plug has been replaced, turn the engine over and see if it even tries to kick off. If it sputters and tries to start, then the likely culprit is the fuel pump followed by the carburetor.

The fuel pump on most gasoline powered carts usually has three hoses going to it. One is the gasoline in, one is the gasoline out, and the third is a hose that hooks to the crankcase vacuum. here

Hello, i have many questions but ill start with a few.
1. The yamaha 350 from 89ish- 93ish has this dual actuating throttle cable assembly. I can not find a replacement cable for it. One cable had rusted and broke. Do i need to update to the new carb style that has the single cable? If so this sucks because i just cleaned this one.
2. Has anyone found replacement struts/coil-overs for these moto 4s?
3. What cause oil residue in the starter gear housing? Is it normal?
4. Does anyone have a service manual?
I hope to get answers to this stuff. Im the kind of guy that researches and never Have the opportunity to help people. Hopefully this thread will do just that.

OK Ryan I hope you can help me out as well as you have very knowledgeable information for the previous rider issues.
I have an 07 ZX6R and she runs great! My bike had ran out of gas and after filling her up she would not start. The bike is fuel injected. Ive tried push starting it and would only get a sputter and engine kill. The bike is turning over with seemingly full power but wont catch. More specifically, when I try to crank it up it turns over and over proudly until it sounds as is if it about to sputter again while the power of the crank is still very high… Once again the bike runs perfect without this issue and I ride everyday. Little more information.. Ive had the bike since it was at 13,500 miles and it is now at 23,000 and although it is a well kept bike, ive never changed the spark plugs. I’m not sure if there is a direct correlation between the two but…yea. Reminder, the bike ran just fine before I run out of gas. Sorry so long just very anxious here

Good morning i have a question . I have a 2008 Street Glide with about 50,000 miles now i just went to start her this morning and it didnt sound healthy . She turned over like there were no spark plugs on. It just sounded like no compression at all. So i just stopped turning her over tried again and she started sounded good lots of air flowing so i turned her off and tried again and did the same . So i was wondering could it just be a bad plug or could it be internal.? here

Hi,
I have a 1982 Honda CM 250 C and it will not run. I thought the starter was out because it sounded like it was just spinning. I bought a new starter and put it on and it basically sounds the same. I dont hear the typical sound of it firing, any suggestions?
