I have tried Yamaha Marine Silver (PNT-87000-SP-EK) which is close but not 'blue' enough', it's a very light silver blue.

As I Iook at the available information for repainting the cowling on m 2006 15 HP Yamaha dinghy motor, I find Yamaha spray paint that will match my motor along with other brands that also report good color match. However I don't see a Yamaha brand clear coat where as other brands advertise it together with their paint. more

These guys do this for a living, you can have them paint or touch it up for you, or call them and buy the factory color matched paint for your motor from them.

I just needed some touch-up paint for scratches on skeg and lower unit, bought a can of automotive spray paint at Advanced Auto Parts, called something like "Metallic Grey/Blue". It was about $5/can and a very close match to the Yamaha grey/blue color. Maybe take your cowling over there with you to match it up? Good Luck!

Yes the Aussie stores have it but its not worth the cash they want for it! if its for a big job but still a bladdy rip off even for somthing small.
Take something that is relatively easy off your motor (COVER, LWR.MOUNT at the base of the Trunk), take it to a respectfull local Automotive Paint Supply Shop and get them to colour match it and buy it by the ltr not 300grms! here
